The GEO-Track 2 is a terminal with GPS and GSM connectivity, which is able to receive the GPS coordinates and transfer them via the GSM/GPRS network. This device is perfectly suitable for applications where location acquirement of remote objects is needed. So one can easily track remote objects (trucks, cars, ships etc.) !

It has the option of a rechargeable battery inside and a special controller for power management. Also there is an option of using an external backup battery. Thus it can operate for up to 48 hours in Normal (Sending via GPRS) mode with an external backup battery. The GEO-Track 2 can also be used as a data-interface for remote objects, such as monitoring temperature, engine status, fuel consumption, status of switches etc. There are even outputs that can be controlled via the GSM-Network, i.e. to activate an immobilizer or other devices.

In case of losing connection to the GSM/GPRS-Network, the GEO-Track 2 can store up to 7500 records, and once the connection is re-established the device will send the stored data via GPRS. So one won’t lose data (coordinates, sensors data and etc.).
The case of the device is robust and easy mountable for installation into harsh environment.

- 4 digital inputs, 4 digital outputs and 4 analogue inputs (2 ranges 10V and 30 V, 10 bit resolution), which could be used for performing tasks on remote objects, such as monitoring fuel tank levels, engine status, or doors etc.
- 1-Wire® I/O protocol integrated for temperature measuring or key ID identification.
- RS232 port which could be used for external peripheral data communication.
- Voice function (supports voice calls !)
- 2 LED indicators: "Status" and "Navigate".
- The package includes antenna, Coloured I/O cables and data cables.

The firmware for the device enables functions as:
- GPS and I/O, 1-Wire, CAN data acquisition

- Sending acquired data via GPRS (TCP/IP and UDP/IP protocols)
