A very smart circuit for having music in the telephone, when you put the caller in "hold". It is a useful alternative solution for telephone sets that don’t have this option. The construction is based on an IC that generates a known melody. It also gives you the ability to record your own melody from a tape player or CD. There is no need for power supply as it is connected in parallel with the phone line.
