It uses the well known ICL 7106 analogue to digital converter IC.This integrated circuit incorporates in a 40 pin package all the circuitry necessary to translate an analogue quantity as voltage to digital information and also has the necessary driver circuit for the four led displays. Current drawn 200mA, max. Measuring range: 0 - 200 Volts.
